Data Pump Technical Training

This is a complete short Storyline course I developed while working at InvoiceCloud. It introduces Data Pump and how it fits into the billing and payment work its learners do.

Employees in municipal and local-government environments who work with billing and payment processes, including employees responsible for accepting or supporting payments for services such as utility bills and tax bills.

Learners needed to understand a technical system well enough to apply it to their own work. The subject matter was already demanding, so the course itself could not add to that demand.

This Storyline course demonstrates my approach to technical training: complexity in the subject matter does not require complexity in the learner experience. The course was designed for employees working with municipal billing and payment processes. I intentionally used a straightforward structure, focused visual presentation, predictable navigation, and guided narration to make technical information easier to understand without introducing unnecessary interaction or navigation demands.

The design keeps the learner's attention on understanding the system and its application to their work rather than on learning how to operate the course itself.

I created and recorded the voice narration used throughout this technical training. Narration guides learners through technical concepts in a conversational, approachable way while reinforcing the visual information presented onscreen.
